No Coal Tar Epoxy like Epoxy.com Product #210 form a waterproofing membrane. It is actually too tight to use a curing compound. Instead you should use Epoxy.com Product #223.

I recommend that you use the 28 days set by the American Concrete Association before you apply any high quality epoxy like Epoxy.com Product #216 Coal Tar Epoxy.

Can a swimming pool be epoxy-coated while full? Given: I realize that, even in optimal conditions, surface prep might be marginal, water could be trapped under the coating……. AND that small amounts of resin might remain to be filtered from the water.
-=> COULD this otherwise- irritating job in hot conditions and tremendous waste of water (empty, refill, re-ionize,etc.). [If I must use a respirator anyway… why not SCUBA?]
—- SEEMS do-able, BUT IS IT DONE?
No, it needs to be emptied, dried, and properly prepared. See http://www.epoxy.com/surfaceprep.aspx or http://www.epoxysystems.com/surfaceprep.aspx for more information.
